Reva M. Dean, 62, of Hymera, passed away at 7:40 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2004 in Health South Rehabilitation Hospital in Terre Haute. Born June 17, 1941 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Levi and Vesta (Watson) Thomson. She was married for 45 years to Mahlon "Dizzy" Dean of Hymera. They were married Sept. 30, 1958. She was a school bus driver for the Northeast School Corporation and a member of the Hymera Chapter 289 Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include: her husband Mahlon "Dizzy" Dean; three sons, Randall Lee Dean and his wife Dee Dee of Spencer, Michael Dee Dean and his wife Frankie of Sullivan, Scott "Boog" Allen Dean and his wife Jody of West Terre Haute; four daughters, Lisa Ann Sack and her husband Steve and Michele Marie Frossard and her husband Joe, all of Avon, Kathryn Lynn Troyer and her husband Ed of Greencastle, Bonita Kay Latta and her husband Bill of Terre Haute; three sisters, Berniece Watkins of Mooresville, Vera Vest of Linton, Wilma Mowery of Camby; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchildren and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Sisie Briscoe and Lorene Brannon.Funeral service is at 11 a.m. on Friday at Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan with the Rev. David Wilson and the Rev. Eddie Hammond officiating. Burial will be in Peavey Cemetery near Jasonville.
