Sherman Lewis "Red" Berry was born on April 18, 1936 at Cordell, OK to William and Bessie (Isbell) Berry. He departed this life on October 1, 2014 at Oklahoma City, OK.


“Red” left home at 13 years of age to workin the oilfield. He farmed, worked in the trucking industry,

owned Berry Brothers Music Store, Red's Standard, Red Berry Excavating. He from Yellow Freight Lines after 20

years. In 2006 he bought A-1 septic service in Longdale .
Red played music for many years, could play any musical instrument and was a 2009 inductee in the Iowa Rock N Rock Hall of Fame. Records cut by Red included “What A Dolly”, “Memories of an Angel” and “I Always Said I Couldn't Write a Song”.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Lanelle Marie Berry and Donna Mae Cauble; brothers Authur Berry, Wilson "Bud" Berry, Thomas "Cotton" Berry, Wayne, Sam, Lewis" Lou" Berry; sisters Estelle Thomas and Ollie Parks ; and grandson

Billy Cauble.
Survivors include his wife Ramona Berry and children Rozan Driver, Danny and Re Berry, Dale and Maria Weaver, Rhett and Susie Cauble, Randy and Monica Points, Steve and Brandi Miller and Skelly Cauble.

Grandchildren ; Todd and Nissa Mabbitt, Daniel Wilson, Sean Driver, Danni Berry, Chris and Samantha McCart, Nathan and Amy Hartnett, Matt and Kerry Berry, Myke and Heather Winner, Paul and MaKayla Alvarado, Zac Fields, Brent and Deanna Cauble, Brett Cauble, Ian and Samantha Williams, Josh and Lindsey Roundtree, Ashton Allen, Randy Points II, Trinity Points, Lane Miller, Hannah Miller, McKamie Miller, Dalton Warrington, Danielle Warrington, Shy Cauble, Tanner Cauble and twenty great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are his siblings Virginia King, Emmalee Twyford , Wayde Berry, Roy Berry and Gerrel Berry.

This kind hearted, Christian man gave his family the gift of love and music. He will be missed by many . We look forward to the glorious hope of being together again never to part.
