Wayne George Berry was born December 29, 1926 in Franklin, Texas the son of Wilson and Bessie (Isabel) Berry. He served in the United States Army during World War II in Japan. He married Janet Kay (Platz) on July 14, 1962 in Clayton, N.M. He owned and operated his own business called K&K Oil Company in Liberal, Kansas. After retirement in 1993, he moved to Shawnee. Wayne enjoyed watching baseball, western movies, going to church and reading his Bible, and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a daughter: Danna Berry, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.
