Per Pennsylvania Marriage License, on Oct 12 1905 in Franklin, Cora Myrtle Huffman of Franklin, 17, daughter of M. T. and Maggie Huffman, married Joseph Poletz of Franklin, laborer, 27, son of Joseph and Gustine Poletz; her first marriage. His former wife died Mar 8 1904.

Mrs. Cora M. Cornell of Rt. 1 Franklin, Uniontown Hill, died at 9:30 pm Thursday in Franklin Hospital. Born in Victory Township, Venango County, October 31, 1887, she was the daughter of Taylor and Margaret Osborn Cornell.

She married Herbert F. Cornell who died in 1936.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Leona) Hoffman of Rt. 2 Franklin, Mrs. Conrad (Hazel) Klinger, Rt 1 Franklin, with whom she made her home; a sister, Mrs. Flossie O'Sullivan of New Fern, NY. Deceased are two brothers, Benjamin and Floyd Huffman.

Services will be at 2:30 pm Sunday at Burger Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Baker officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
