Laid to Rest. Funeral of Frank DeGree held Sunday Afternoon.
The funeral of Frank DeGree, whose death occurred last Thursday evening, was held at St. Boniface Catholic Church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The services were conducted by Rev. Father Vilman. The Forester's of which order deceased was a member, attended in a body. The remains were interred at the Catholic cemetery south of town.
Frank DeGree was a just and upright man, and was highly respected in the community. His untimely demise is a source of regret to all who knew him, and his bereaved family have the sympathy of the community.
Frank DeGree was forty-five years of age at the time of his death. He was born at Rockstone Falls, Canada, in 1856. Twenty-seven years ago he came to this vicinity and settled on a farm southeast of Stewart. There he and his family resided until coming to Stewart about nine years ago. Since then he has resided here. Eighteen years ago Frank DeGree and Miss Zelenda Beaudry were united in marriage.
Deceased is survived by his wife and ten children, five boys and five girls. Besides these and many other relatives, five brothers are living. They are C. J., DeGree C. L. DeGree and Jos. DeGree, all of this place and Moses and Eli DeGree of Rogers, Ark.
