ARTHUR J. ADAMS of E. Keyser Lake road, Dolgeville, a native of Syracuse, died after a long illness Wednesday in Roswell Park Hospital, Buffalo.

Formerly employed at New Process Gear Co. for 28 years, he has recently been employed by Dalsan Inc. in Dolgeville.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nellie Sheppard Adams; two sons, Walter and Donald Adams, both of Syracuse; and three sisters, Miss Sophie Adams, Miss Amie Ellen Adams and Mrs. Mae E. Dody, all of Syracuse.

A requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s Church at 9:30 a.m. Monday by the Rev. John A. Fitzgerald.  Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dolgeville.

Friends may call today and tomorrow at the Moore Funeral Home, 3 Faville Ave., Dolgeville.  Recitation of the Rosary will be at 8 p.m. tomorrow.
