Mary Bradstreet was a daughter of Jonathan Bradstreet and Sarah Wheeler Bradstreet. She was the great granddaughter of Humphrey Bradstreet , the immigrant and granddaughter of Captain Moses Bradstreet of Rowley, Massachusetts.

She married David Chaplin in Rowley, Mass., 10 Jan. 1737. David Chaplin was the 6th child of Jeremiah Chaplin and Anne Kilbourne Chaplin. David and Mary moved to Lunenburg in 1739.

David and Mary had 9 children; Lucy, Betty, Joseph, Mary, Sarah, David, Jonathan, Jeremiah and Anna.

Jonathan Bradstreet will page 2:
"... Item To my beloved Daughter Mary Chaplin I
Give and bequeath The Sum of five shillings and
also one Half of my Household Goods That I shall
Leave That I Have not Disposed of which with the
Has already Had is Her full portion out of my Estate
To be paid to Her by my Executors within one year
after my Deceased..."

David Chaplin will page 1:
"...Imprimis as to my Beloved wife my will is that She have out of my Estat
What the Law would alow if there was no will made

contract between Mary's [nick name Molly] son David and his son James 1804:
"Be it remembered and forever understood that the said David Chaplin is not to come into possession so long as I, the said James Chaplin continure to fulfill a bond for the maintenance of the said David Chaplin and Prudence his wife and Molly Chaplin the said David's mother."
contract between Mary's son David and his son James Jun 1805:
" holden and firmly bound to well and truly maintain, or cause to be maintained in a decent manner David Chaplin and Prudence Chaplin his wife and Molly Chaplin, mother of said David through their natural lives to provide all the common necessaries of life, both in sickness and in health, all and clear through each one of their natural lives."
contract between Mary's son David and his son James Jul 1807:
Molly isn't mentioned, so it is assumed she has passed on.
