SYLVESTER - Mr. Bobby Junior McDonald, 83, of Sylvester died Monday, September 22, 2014 at Pruitt Healthcare in Sylvester.
The graveside service will held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Providence Cemetery.
Mr. McDonald was born in Worth County on June 30, 1931 to the late Bob Washington and Lena Davis McDonald. He had lived in Worth and Dougherty Counties for most his life. Mr. McDonald was a retired carpenter who had worked for Giles Builders for many years. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Winnie Rugg Spillers McDonald of Sylvester; son, Lester M. McDonald of Sumner; daughters, Wanda M. Hall of Albany and Charlotte Ann McDonald of Sylvester; brothers, Jimmy McDonald and Tony McDonald both of Sylvester; sister, Geneva Jones of Sylvester and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. McDonald was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Faye Odom McDonald on March 30, 1987; a brother, Theophilus McDonald and two sisters, Earline "Boots" Goodwin and Cleo Massey.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00 PM until service hour at Banks Funeral Home.
