Paul A (R) Hathaway, aged 66, of Carmichaels a retired farmer and stockraiser, died early Tuesday, Dec 12, 1944 at Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg, following a rather prolonged illness due to a complication of ailments. Born December 28, 1877, at Carmichaels, he was a son of William A and Ella Hart Hathaway, deceased, his mother's death having occurred only a short time ago. All of his life was spent in the Carmichaels vacinity, where he was well known. His wife, Ica Burnette Hathaway, died in 1916. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Pauline Harris of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Idallia Rinehart of Waynesburg; and Miss Ann Hathaway, Carmichaels; four sons; Gerald and Russell Hathaway of Pittsburgh; George with the Army in Germany, and William of Carmichaels. Also by one brother, Robert Hathaway of Carmichaels; and two sisters, Mrs. Edna Keller of Carmichaels and Mrs Jessie Fox of Washington.
