Raymond Iden, 63, Route 1, Upper Sandusky, died Thursday night in Wyandot Memorial Hospital after a three-week illness. He was born in West Jefferson on July 31, 1896 to Leander and Olive (Motteler) Iden. On Jan. 24, 1950 he married Dorcas Coldren who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Eva) Harmon, Sycamore, three grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren; four nieces and nephews. Two sisters and a brother are deceased. Iden was a retired farmer and a veteran of World War I. He was a former member of the Harpster Methodist Church. His funeral will be at 1:30 pm Monday in Lucas Funeral Home, the Rev. Harold Place officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
