Mrs. Ivey was a native of Gwinnett County, lived in Baldwin County for her life, daughter of the late Byrd Clifton Benson and the late Letha Augusta Bagwell Benson. She was retired from McGaw Laboratories and a member of Hardwick Christian Church. Mrs. Ivey was the widow of the late O.E. Ivey, Jr.,and was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Ann Ivey; a brother, Myron Benson; and a sister Delores Breedlove Tribble.
Survivors include a daughter, June (Wayne) Fuqua of Dublin; sons, Steve (Judy) Ivey, and Dale Ivey of Milledgeville, and Gary (Barbara) Ivey of Sparta.
