In 1850 both Sampson and Hannah were 50 years old. They had nine children: Margaret Eliza, Benjamin, Alfred, Henry, Daniel, John, Peter, Andrew Jackson, and Mary "Polly" Ann. Sampson and Hannah do not appear in the 1860 census, so they were probably deceased by then. The place of burial is unknown.
