"BIDWELL BRIEFS
"A pioneer of this section passed away Thursday, John N. Baker. Mr. Baker died about ten o'clock a.m. The funeral of Mr. Baker was conducted from the M.E. church at Christiansburg, Friday at 3 o'clock p.m., Rev. John Bridges conducting the service, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Christiansburg Cemetery. The South Side undertaker attended the funeral with the hearse and rendered very effective service."
