DEATH OF MRS JANE MARTIN

Mrs. Jane Martin, who was stricken with paralysis Thursday evening, died on Sunday morning at 8 o'clock aged 87 years, all her children being at her bedside except her oldest son, Elvin, who resides in Colorado. Mrs. Martin has been a resident of this city for a number of years and her death will be sadly mourned by a host of friends. the funeral took place from the family home residence on Maple avenue Monday evening at 4 o'clock, conducted by Rev. I. O. Kemble of the Methodist church. Those from a distance who attended the funeral were; Mr. and Mrs. Jess Hughes and family, of Corydon; Mrs. Doctor Simmons of Chariton; S. A. Martin of Seymore; Edward Gibbs and wife, of Corydon and Clyde L. Martin of Unionville, Missouri.
