Robert F. Osborne, 90, a lifelong Rush County farmer, died peacefully at home in his favorite chair on the farm he loved on Wednesday, September 3, 2014.

Bob was born September 12, 1923 in Rush County to Fred and Beatrice (Austin) Osborne. He was one of six children, survived by Wilna Northam Chance, Betty Dickey, preceded by, Russell Osborne, George Osborne and Carol Fizer.

He married Ruby Stevens, the love of his life, on October 21, 1944 in Zionsville, IN. They would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary next month.
