Martha Singleton, 76, of Columbia, MO passed away at her home on Friday, August 22, 2014. Memorial Service will be 2PM Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Parker Funeral Service 22 N Tenth Street Columbia, MO. Private burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Martha was born March 21, 1938 in Columbia to James Cecil and Sue Mae Edwards Grant. She married Donald Lee Singleton on October 27, 1957 and he preceded her in death on June 4, 2007. She loved playing cards, antiquing and tinkering around the house with Don. They refinished furniture together and cared for their flower garden. Most of all, she was a loving and caring woman. She is survived by her two sons, Randall Lee Singleton &wife Sherene of Lexington, KY and John Singleton & wife Heidi of St. Louis, MO; three daughters, Susan Singleton, Brenda Marie Singleton, and Stephanie Arroyo & husband Timothy all of Columbia; four brothers, Don Grant of Punta Gorda, FL, Bobby, Russell, & James Earl Grant all of Columbia; three sister, Lois Garrett of Fayette, Mary Lou Ballenger and Patsy Watt both of Harrisburg; ten grandchildren, Spencer, Taylor, Alexa, and Skylor Singleton, Ella and Quinn Singleton, Morgan Carter, Jessica Cropp and Haley Chadderdon & husband Ben, and Madison Arroyo; four great-grandchildren, Jaslyn and Elijah Singleton, Ayden Cropp and Ava Chadderdon. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Don, and sister Claudia Butzin. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice
