Funeral services for Robert Allen Watson,55, of Kent, Ohio, were held May 25,1967, at the Bissler funeral home there with Rev. Clifford B. Thomas officiating.

Mr. Watson died suddenly May 22 of a heart attack while at work. Interment was at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.

He was born Mar. 31, 1912, at Monango, N.D., the son of Mrs. (Clara) James Bird "Bert" Watson and the late Mr. Watson. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the South Pacific. In 1946, he was married in Portland, Maine, to Althea Plaisted. They later moved to Ellendale where he worked for the city for seven years.

Survivors include his wife, son Robert, 11, and daughter Clara, 15, all of 630 Lake St., Kent, Ohio; one brother, Byron Watson of Aberdeen, SD and four sisters, Mrs. (Ethel) Cliff Abrams of Interior, SD., Mrs (Hazel) Ralph Hartley of Garden City., Mrs (Laura) Clifford Hay of Fullerton, and Mrs. (Dorothy) Harold Schweitz of Ellendale. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs Clara L. Watson of Ellendale.

Mr. Watson was preceded in death by his father and three brothers, Walter, Edwin and Edward.
