His death notice was published in The Citizen Register and says he was 79 and died this morning at his home, 205 Spring Street. Born in Ossining to George and Deborah Cypher Romaine. He is survived by two brothers, George and Everett, both of Pleasantville and one sister Mrs. Letitia Barnes of Ossining. One son lived with him. The service was by Rev Anthony N Petersen of Scarborough Presbyterian Church. He is in a plot with many family members but does not appear to have his own headstone.
