Born December 9, 1922 in Rexburg, Idaho, son of John H. and Evelyn Taysom Hope. Married Fay Loraine Miner November 26, 1947 in Rexburg, Idaho.

Survived by wife, Fay; children, Sheila (Jerald) Barker, Yuba City, California; Diana Harrell, Ferndale, Maryland; Lola Mitchell, Dallas, Texas; Dennis and Vernon J., Rexburg, Idaho; Dyle B. and Dale J., St. Anthony, Idaho; Kevin D., Teton, Idaho; Roger and Bryce, West Valley City; 30 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Lorin J. Hope, Kearns; sisters, Reah (Hyrum) Higley, West Valley City; Lila Bensley, Kearns; Donna Miller and Joyce Cox, West Valley City; LaRee Monk, Thornton, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 2 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Thursday 5-7 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services. Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens.
