Obit:Geneive McIlrath, 90, of Grinnell, died Thursday, February 9th at St. Francis Manor. A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 14 at the Grinnell Christian Church with Rev. John Epperson officiating. Casket bearers will be her grandsons, Patrick Brown II, Jeff Larsen, Joel Larsen, J. Harley McIlrath III, Jeremy McIlrath, Justin McIlrath, James Williams II and John Williams. Honorary bearers are her granddaughters Michelle Brown Appel, Jennifer Williams Beck, Julie McIlrath Bennis, Jill Brown Krausman, Kimberly Kaisand Miller and Sara Larsen Roorda. Interment will be at Prairie View Cemetery in Gilman. Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home beginning at 12 noon on Monday where the family will be present to greet friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Monday evening.
