Oroville Mercury-Register - January 21, 1946: Harry Henry Ank, 76, died Sunday in the Good Samaritan Hospital as a result of an accidental discharge of his 22 calibre rifle Saturday in his cabin near Feather Falls. Undersheriff Bain investigated the circumstances.
He is survived by a brother, also of Feather Falls, John F. Ank. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the graveside in the Mooretown cemetery. Hamilton and Riley are in charge of the arrangements. [Transcribed by Nancy Brower.]
