Oroville Mercury-Register – December 2, 1948: John Ank, 71, who had lived all his life in this area, died this morning at the Good Samaritan Hospital. He entered the hospital Monday. His home was in Feather Falls, where he was born. He is survived by numerous nephews and nieces in Butte County.
