Samuel S. Aungst, twenty-five, of Elizabethtown RD, died at 6 a.m. Thursday, in the Hamburg State sanatorium. He is survived by his wife, Mable Gantz Aungst and two children, Minerva and Artemus, both at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Aungst, Bossler's Corner, grandmother, Mrs. Salome Aungst, of Salunga; and his wife's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel E. Stauffer, of Lancaster. Five brothers, Paul, Warren, Hiram, Harry and Harold, all of Elizabethtown RD, also survive. (Intelligencer Journal - Jan 15, 1937)
