Born near Landisville, he was the son of the late Warren S., Sr. and Anna Strickler Aungst. He resided at Longwood for the past three years with his wife Anna Kready Aungst. They celebrated their 67 wedding anniversary on August 29th and Mr. Aungst would have been 86 on January 15th.
Warren farmed for many years, worked at Three Mile Island and retired from Atlantic Breeders Corp. in Lancaster.
He was a charter member of Word of Life Chapel in Bainbridge. He enjoyed gardening and hunting and working with marble that he found on his farm, but his favorite times were those spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
In addition to his wife, Anna, Warren is survived by six married children, Ken and Marsha Aungst of Bainbridge; John and Arlene Fry; Wayne and Susan Miller; Donald and Barbara Miller, Dale and Donna Aungst, Dwight and Anne Aungst all of Elizabethtown; 14 grandchildren, 17 great grand-
children and two brothers, HarryAungst of Maytown and Harold Aungst of Shirleysburg.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2008 at Word of Life Chapel, 139 Wickersham Road, Bainbride, PA at 6:00 PM. There will be no viewing. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
