Glen Landers, age 72, of the Camp Creek Community, died Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Johnson City Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years: Evelyn Pauline Landers; two sons: George and Sarah Landers and Andy Landers and Chrystal Bales; a granddaughter: Alexis Landers; two brothers and their wives: Earnal and Linda Landers and Warren and Mildred Landers; two sisters: Martha Gentry and her husband, Carson, and Janetta Manis; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by four grandchildren: Abigail and Isabella Landers and Levi and Malachi Landers; parents: Nelson and Elizabeth Landers; four sisters; one brother.

The family will receive friends from 1 – 3 p.m. on Sunday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Dolphus Cutshaw and the Rev. Mike Hubbard will officiate. Interment will follow in Union Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be George Landers, Andy Landers, David Shelton, Johnny Fillers, Adam Shelton, Brandon Fillers, Roy Fillers, David Fillers, and Kenneth Carter. The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
