Services for Grady Jay Bogle, age 75, of Gassaway were held Wednesday, November 6, 1985 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Elledge officiating. Interment was in Sycamore Cemetery with Woodbury Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Grady was a native of Cannon County, died Monday, November 4, 1985 at DeKalb General Hospital following and extended illness. He was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church and was a retired employee of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville. He was the son of the late Joe Jasper Bogle and Mary Ethel Summars Bogle.
Survivors include his wife, Estille Milligan Bogle of Gassaway; 2 sons, Earl Bogle of Gassaway and Jimmy Bogle of Abilene, TX; 4 brothers, Andrew Bogle and Frank Bogle, both of Donelson, Paul Bogle of Franklin and L.B. Bogle of Nashville; 5 sisters, Bernice Lillard, Allie Cooley, Mary Dutton, and Helen Anderson, all of Franklin and Joyce Garner of Nashville; and 5 grandchildren.
