LOVINGTON, N.M. (Special) Clifford Harold Collins, 37, died Sunday at the Lovington Lea General Hospital following an extended illness.
Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Earl Brandon, pastor, officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. Gordon Garlington, former Lovington resident now of Pecos.
Collins was born in Preston, Okla., on Sept. 28, 1929 and had lived here for the past 15 years. He was employed by the Shell Oil Company as a pumper and was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors are his wife, Peggy; two sons, Alan Bruce and Evan Blake, both of the home; his mother, Mrs. Clara Collins, Beggs, Okla.; three brothers, Richard of Claremore, Okla.; Alan of Wilburton, Okla; and LaVerne of Edmond, Okla.; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Alice Breedlove, Maricopa, Calif.
Pallbearers are Bernard Berryhill, B. F. Bell, Earl Collins, George Breaux, Earl Belford and H. G. Starling.
Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery under the direction of Smith-Rogers Funeral Home.
