VICTORIA - Dennis Smith, 60, of Victoria, passed away July 1, 2014. The Lord came silently and took him home peacefully to be united with his loving wife, Tisa.

He was born August 16, 1953 in Goliad to the late Alton Claude and Elfie Smith. He was a loving father and grandfather. Dennis was a retired sheet metal worker and carpenter. His hobbies included fishing, carpentry, billards and listening to southern rock music.

He is the son-in-law to Elidia Lilley and the brother-in-law to The Lilley Family. He is an Uncle to many Nieces and Nephews and a friend to many. He will be missed greatly, as we all know him to be a kind, gentle and simple man.

Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Teresa (Tisa) Smith; brothers, Jimmy, Garland and Larry Smith; and sister Linda Simoneaux.

Burial at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8819 US Hwy 87 North in Victoria, TX.
