LILLIE FRANCIS CLAYTON MARNEY, 94, of Duncan, Okla., died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006, in Good Samaritan Center in Hobart, Okla.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20, in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Henry Bernard and the Rev. Wayne Morrow officiating. Interment was in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Lillie was born May 10, 1911, to John and Rebecca Phillips Clayton. She had five sisters and three brothers.
She married Hardy Marney on Sept. 28, 1929. He preceded her in death in 1971.
She was a homemaker and also a co-pastor with her husband for Church of God, retiring in 1993.
Survivors include two sons, Doyle Marney of Hobart, and Charley Marney of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Faye Shultz of Oklahoma City, and Ann Brewer of Bethany, Okla.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Toby Marney; a daughter, Ann Walls; three sisters, Alma Houston, Fannie Mae Goodgion and Ruth Montgomery; and three brothers, Alfred Pete Clayton, David Ernest Clayton, and John Blake "JB" Clayton.
