Anna Kopsa Herink, daughter of Marie Heyda and Josef Kopsa, was born January 14, 1889, on a farm near Cuba, and died at Park Villa Home in Clyde on April 12, 1986, at the age of 97 years, two months and 29 days.
As a young girl she received her education at B.B. school east of Cuba.
On February 22, 1910, she was united in marriage to Charles Hernik. They resided on a farm northwest of Cuba until 1923 when they moved to Cuba and operated a dairy farm for several years. In 1947 they moved to Clyde.
She was a homemaker until she became a resident of Park Villa in 1984.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and infant son, two sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include a son, Charles; two grandchildren; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
