Luella M. Alt
Leipsic - Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leispic, for Luella M. Alt, 87, of here. She died at 1:45 a.m. Thursday at Putnam Acres Care Center, Ottawa.
She was born Nov. 26, 1904, in Fort Jennings, the daughter of Herman F. and Rose Schimmoeller Ricker. On June 22, 1927, she married Henry Alt, who died Aug. 14, 1979.
Mrs. Alt was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic, and its Altar Rosary Society.
Survivors include six sons, John Alt of Davison, Mich., William Alt of Columbus, Bernard Alt of Avilla, Ind., Richard Alt of Ottawa, Robert Alt of Leipsic, and Kenneth Alt of Erie, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Viola) Topp of Leipsic and Mrs. Cleo (Ghnelda) Schimmoeller of Fort Jennings; 37 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph Ricker of Columbus Grove and Melvin Ricker of Ottawa; and three sisters; Mrs. Leander (Alberta) Moening of Ottawa and Dorothy Kuhlman and Charlotte Alt, both of Leipsic.
Rev. Al Miorin will officiate for the services. Burial will be in church cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday and all day Sunday at the Love Funeral Home, Leipsic, where a parish rosary will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary's School or to the Putnam County Heart Association.
