MRS. BRYNER RITES
MONTICELLO ~ Funeral services for Mrs. John Bryner, 84, a native of Monticello, who died April 3rd, at her home in Humbird, were held in Monticello Saturday in the Zwingli Evangelical and Reformed church. The Rev. A. R. Achtemeier conducted the service and burial was in the church cemetery.
The former Catharine Rhyner was born in Monticello and spent the early years of her life here. In 1881, she was married to John Bryner, Monticello, and 10 years later they moved to Clark county. In 1898 they settled on a farm near Humbird, where they lived until 1917 when they moved to Humbird.
Mrs. Bryner is survived by one son, John, Humbird; six daughters: Mrs. Elizabeth Baebler and Mrs. Rose Spring, Monticello; Mrs, Emma Keller, Miami, Florida; Mrs. Chloy Rieder, Rockford, Illinois; and Mrs. Anna Hart and Mrs. Mae Hahn, Humbird; one sister, Mrs. John Baebler, Sr., Monticello; 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
