Kinser, Gordon Russell "Shorty", 86 of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday May 11, 2014 at his home with his family by his side.
He was a member of Morris Hill Baptist Church and was retired from Quaker Oats Company after 36 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ada and Gordon Kinser, sister, Grace Kinser McClure, brothers, J.L., Gene and Kenneth Kinser.
Survivors are his wife of 60 years Elva Lee Kinser, daughter Vickie (Rob) Varnell, brother, Rankin (Mae) Kinser, sisters, Sarah Axley and Ada Casteel. Grandsons, Michael (Melissa) Varnell and Brian (Linda) Varnell. Great grandchildren, Trenton, Brooklyn, Madalyn, Emma, Olivia (Little Bit) and Camilla and special love sent to Dianne from your "Rich Uncle".
Funeral services will be held 7 PM Tuesday May 13, 2014 at Heritage Chapel with Rev. Bill Mason, officiating. The interment will be at 11 AM Wednesday May 14, 2014 in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to; Morris Hill Baptist Church (Building Fund) 1804 Morris Hill Rd 37421.
