Mrs. Thelma I. Baird, 80, formerly of 171 Glenwood Ave., and a resident of Wickliffe Country Place Nursing Home, Wickliffe, Ohio, died at the home Thursday, Oct. 8, 1981, following a lengthy illness.
She was born at Utica April 16, 1901, a daughter of Orlo D. and Carrie Cassidy Nichols. She married Walter I. Baird April 18, 1918. He died Feb. 10, 1978.

She is survived by a son, Byron N. of Euclid, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Wickham of Las Vegas and Mrs. Rachel Crowe of Meadville, and several nieces and nephews..
