The Rev. Donald D. Huffmier, pastor of Calvary Bible Church, will conduct services at 11 a.m. Friday in the Hansen Chapel for Mrs. Calvin (Calpernia) Muir, 89, of Park Falls, formerly of Marshfield. She died at 6:45 p.m. Monday at the Heritage Nursing Home in Park Falls.
Burial will be made in the Nasonville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hansen Chapel from 2-9 p.m. Thursday and until time of services Friday.
The former Calpernia Rustad was born Jan. 30, 1886, in the Town of Lincoln, Wood County. She was educated in Lincoln Township, where she worked before her marriage to Calvin C. Muir on June 13, 1912, at Abbotsford. The couple observed its golden wedding anniversary in 1962. Her husband died March 27, 1972.
After their marriage, the Muirs farmed in the Towns of Lincoln, McMillan, and Fenwood before coming to Marshfield in 1942. The past three years she had been residing in Park Falls.
She was a member of Calvary Bible Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Julius (Bernice) Wollerman and Mrs. Edna Clemens, both of Park Falls, and Mrs. Joseph (Ilene) Weisenberger, Marshfield; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons and two brothers.
