Mattie Esther had worked for Texas Instruments. She served as a member of the Highland Park United Methodist Church. Mattie Esther was preceded in death by her husband, William Alex Vinson. She is survived by her sister, Lorene Cole Vinson; brother, Embry Cole; sisters-in-law, Mildred Patrick, Loraine Sipes and many nieces and nephews.
