Carnie Lee Davis
SUTTON - Carnie Lee Davis, 78, of Sutton died Sunday, Feb. 16, 1997, in Eldercare, Ripley, after a long illness.
He was a miner. He retired from the state Department of Highways. He w as an Army veteran and a Christian.
Surviving: wife, Dola Mae Jenkins Davis; son, Roger Lee Davis of Sutton; daughter, Glenda Ann Williams of Sutton; brothers, Oliver Davis and Estel Davis, of Virginia; sisters, Hazel Shaw and Creda Cutlip, of Sutton; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton, with the Rev. William Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Barnett Cemetery, near Sutton.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
