Creda Mearl Cutlip
Creda Mearl Cutlip, 83, of Sutton, died April 22, 2009 at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital, Weston.
She was born February 18, 1926 in Braxton County a daughter of the late John Y. and Mary Elizabeth Whytsell Davis.
Also preceding her in death were her husband Arch W. Cutlip; stepson Arthur L. Cutlip; sister Hazel Shaw; and 5 brothers Carnie, Oliver, Estelle, Carmel & James and 2 grandchildren.
She was a Christian by faith and a homemaker.
She is survived by 6 sons Kenneth L. Cutlip of Petersburg, WV; Larry W., Ricky D. Bernard R., Jerry C. and Ronnie K. all of Sutton; 3 daughters Eula M. Davis of Bealton, VA; and Sarah B. Knight & Thelma K. Cline of Sutton; 18 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 31 great, great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton, with Rev. Bill Griffin officiating. Burial was in the Hoover Cemetery near Sutton. Friends called one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
