Mary was born in Lowell on March 4, 1940, a daughter of the late James and Helena (Ennion) Taylor. Mary attended the Sacred Heart Grammar School before moving with her family to Billerica. She moved back to Lowell, completing her education and graduating from Lowell High School with the class of 1958.
She was a parishioner of the former Sacred Heart Church, now Holy Family Parish.
Mary married Bryon LeMay, and together they raised four loving sons and celebrated their 51st Wedding Anniversary.
Mary dedicated her entire life to her family. She remained at home and was the best wife, mother, and grandmother. Mary loved taking trips to Cape Cod. She also enjoyed spending time with her sisters. Mary was an avid pet lover and was very fond of her two cats, Simba and Tasha.
Surviving Mary in addition to her husband Bryon are her three sons, Brian LeMay and his wife, Donna, Christopher LeMay and his wife, Brianne, and James LeMay, all of Lowell. Mrs. LeMay was the mother of the late Paul LeMay who died on December 13, 2013.
Mary also leaves eight grandchildren, Amanda LeMay, Paul LeMay, David LeMay, Jennifer LeMay, Nicole LeMay, Addison LeMay, Haley LeMay, and Brooklyn LeMay; her two sisters, Helena Clarke of Lowell, and Joanne Talty and her husband, Michael of Andover; her daughter-in-law, Bernadette LeMay; her sisters-in-law, Maureen Stickney of Salem, NH, Mary Murphy of Methuen, and her brother-in-law, Augustine LeMay of Manchester, NH; also many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mary was the sister of the late Brenda M. Taylor who died on January 31, 2102, and the sister-in-law of the late John P. Clarke, Emmertt and Eva LeMay, John and Frances LeMay, Frances Thibeault, and Joan Kolveson.
