Born in Billerica on Nov. 11, 1916, the daughter of the late George J. and Mary (Condon) Ennion, she was a graduate of Howe High School.
She lived most of her live in Lowell.
Before her retirement, Mrs. Taylor worked as the first woman secretary for the Board of Assessors in Lowell, a post she held for more than 25 years.
She was also a volunteer at St. John's Hospital (now Saints Memorial Medical Center).
Her survivors included four daughters, Helene A. Clarke of Lowell, Brenda Taylor of Tewksbury, Mary J. LeMay and her husband, Byron, of Lowell, and Joanne Talty and her husband, Michael, also of Lowell; nine grandsons, Thomas J. Clarke and his wife, Mary Ellen, Michael J. Clarke and his wife, Arline, John P. Clarke and his wife, Janice, James W. LeMay, Brian J. LeMay and his wife, Donna, Paul S. LeMay and his wife, Bernadette, Christopher M. LeMay, Michael Talty and Matthew T. Talty and his wife, Katie; 13 great-grandchildren, Meghan, Moira, Thomas, Bridget, Erin, Taylor and Haley Clarke, Joshua Clarke and his wife, Mary, and David, Jennifer, Nicole, Amanda and Paula LeMay; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother-in-law of the late John P. Clarke, a Lowell police officer, and sister of the late Mary Farrell, Catherine Beard, Margaret Michalek, Martha O'Neli, Isabel Tumelty, Theresa Carney, Eileen Long, and George, John, Charles and James Ennion.
