Otto A. Fiegenbaum, 83, died Friday afternoon at his home at 1020 Ruskin Ave. A lifelong resident of Edwardsville, Mr. Fiegenbaum worked at Richards Brick Company and later was a guard at the Illinois State Penitentiary at Menard.
Born Sept. 22, 1881 in Pin Oak Township, he was the son of the late Fred and Emelia (Kriege) Fiegenbaum. He is survived by one brother, Charles H. Fiegenbaum of Edwardsville and one sister, Mrs. Bertha Sooy, also of Edwardsville.
Three other brothers, William, George and Julius, and two other sisters, Mrs. Theo (Minnie) Prott and Miss Carrie Fiegenbaum, preceeded him in death.
Friends may call at Weber Funeral Home after 11 a.m. Sunday. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. in the Weber Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert R. Hollis, pastor of Immanuel Methodist Church, in charge. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
