Obituary from the Edwardsville Intelligencer, Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois, Friday, February 19, 1960, page 2:
  Mrs. Minnie Prott, 81, a resident the past two years at the Madison County Nursing home, died at 4:15 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Hospital, Highland. She had been hospitalized four days.
  Born Jan. 27, 1879 in Pin Oak township, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Amelia Kriege Fiegenbaum. She was married to Theodore L. Prott March 12, 1902 at Immanuel Methodist church and the Woman's Society of Christian Service.
  Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Elmer (Ethel) May of Marine; two brothers and a sister, Otto and Charles Fiegenbaum and Mrs. Bertha Sooy, all of Edwardsville; and one granddaughter.
  Friends may call at the Weber funeral home after 3 p.m. Saturday until 11 a.m. Sunday when the body will be taken to Immanuel Methodist church to lie in state until the 2 p.m. service. The Rev. Dr. Frank E. Harris will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn cemetery.

Pallbearers, all nephews of the deceased, were Elmer, Bruce, Edward and Eugene Fiegenbaum, Edward Sooy and Edward Goss.
