Funeral service was held Tuesday, March 10, 1981 at the German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel for Daniel Boone, 55. Rev. Morrell Upchurch officiated.
Mr. Boone was born July 17, 1925 in Alabama and died March 7, 1981 at the Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville, Ark.
He leaves four daughters: Wanda Singleton, Tammie Saffell, and Cheryl Boone, all of Malden, and Judy Boone of Warnsutter, Wy.; one son, Terry Boone, of Malden; two sisters, Mary Nunn of Waukegan, Ill.; and Ruby Pierce of Portageville; four brothers: Clarence Boone of Steele; Bill Boone of Osceola, Ark., Pat Boone of Cooter, and Junior Boone, of Waukegan, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Sam Smith, Charles Boone, Thomas Wright, Wayne Freeman, Billy Woods, and Virgil Davis.
Burial was at the Mount Zion Cemetery with the German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
