Mrs. Ruby Boone Pierce, 65, of Portageville, formerly of Steele, died Oct. 14, 1992 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Born March 1, 1927 at Blunt County, Ala., she was the daughter of James John and Lois Yeager Boone. She attended the Church of God. She was the widow of William Jefferson Pierce.
She is survived by a son, Eugene Blage of Morley, Mo.; Three brothers, John Boone of Paducah and Clarence and Billy Boone, both of Steele; A sister, Mary Nunn of Zion, Ill.; And two grandchildren, Brian and Elaine Blage, both of Morley.
Services were Oct. 16 at 2 p.m. at Bradshaw's German-Aumon Funeral Home chapel in Steele, the Rev. Glyn Davis officiating, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
