MRS. ANNA HILTY
BERNE-Mrs. Anna P. Hilty, 90, a native of Monroe Township, died Monday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Jacob L. Schwartz, southeast of here. Mrs. Hilty was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Surviving in addition to the daughter are five sons, Peter, John, Jacob, Samuel and Christian Hilty, near Berne; four other daughters, Elizabeth Hilty, at home, and Mrs. Christian Schwartz, Mrs. Menno Schwartz and Mrs. Henry Schwartz, near Berne; 106 grandchildren; a half-brother, and a half-sister. The body at the Yager Funeral Home, will be returned to the Jacob L. Schwartz residence at 1 p.m. today. Services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the Schwartz residence.

Funeral Thursday For Widow Of Joseph H. Hilty
Mrs. Anna P. Hilty, 90, widow of Joseph H. Hilty, died at 2:45 p.m. Monday at the Jacob L. Schwartz home, Geneva Route Two, following a heart ailment of five years.
Mrs. Hilty, a lifelong resident of Adams County, had resided at the home of her son-in-law and daughter for the past 19 years.
She was born in Monroe Township, February 14, 1869, the daughter of Peter P. and Barbara Kauffman Schwartz. On June 1, 1893, she was married to Joseph H. Hilty, who preceded in death April 29, 1926.
Mrs. Hilty is survived by five sons, Peter, John, Jacob, Samuel and Christian, all of this community; five daughters, Mrs. Christian C. (Susan) Schwartz, Mrs. Menno D. (Anna) Schwartz, Mrs. Jacob L. (Margaret) Schwartz, Mrs. Henry (Barbara) Schwartz all of near Berne and Elizabeth at home; 106 grandchildren; 199 great-grandchildren; one half-sister, Mrs. Jacob F. Schwartz of near Berne and one half-brother, John P. Schwartz of Nottawa, Michigan.
The husband, a son, Joseph, two children in infancy and seven sisters, Mrs. Sam Girod, Mrs. George Paille, Mrs. Peter Eicher, Mrs. Jacob Eicher, Mrs. David Wickey, Mrs. Noah Bascom and Mrs. Christian J. Schwartz and three brothers, Peter P., Jacob P., and Samuel P. Schwartz, preceded in death.
Mrs. Hilty was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and here husband was a deacon in the church for many years.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Jacob L. Schwartz residence. Burial will be in South Wabash Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence.
