Wesley Wiruth, son of Martin and Frantiska Zavodsky Wiruth, was born in Republic County on September 27,1883 and died at his home in Cuba on August 19, 1975, at the age of 91 years, 10 months and 22 days.
He attended the Tabor school. He spent his adult life farming near Haddam. He left the farm to live in Cuba within the last year.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Victor, Edd, Joe and Milek; three sisters, Frances Hubka, Josie Cleveland, and Emma Sedlacek.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Earl (Helen) Potter of Washington, and Mrs. Ella Bouska of Haddam.
Funeral services were held at the Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Memorial Chapel , Belleville, conducted by the Rev. Alden Longwell. Interment was made in the National Bohemian cemetery, Cuba.
