Victor Veroda, son of Martin and Frances Veroda was born September 17, 1887 at Cuba, Kan., and died at Oklahoma City, Okla., December 6, 1970 at the age of 83 years, 2 months and 19 days.

He received his education at Tabor school. He was united in marriage to Anna B. Vacha. To this union two children were born.

He was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge of Cuba, worthy patron of the Order of the Eastern Star, a 50 year member of the Royal Arch Masons and a member of the Z.C.B.J. Lodge.

Preceding him in death were his wife, his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors are: his son, Victor Joye of Oklahoma City; his daughter, Evelyn, Mrs. Robert Ward of Belleville; two sisters, Mrs. Earl Potter of Washington and Mrs. Charles Bouska of Haddam; a brother, Jim Wiruth of Haddam; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the United Presbyterian Church at Cuba Wednesday, December 9, conducted by the Rev. Fredrick Mansfield. Burial was in Kopsa cemetery.
