In addition to his parents, Ben was preceded in death by his wife, Esther; and 1 son, Sid Carey.
Visitation was held at Jacoby Brothers Funeral Home in Grafton on 13 Jan 1980. A rosary was recited there at 7:30 p.m. that evening. A funeral Mass was conducted at 1 p.m. the following afternoon at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Grafton.
