Mrs. Frank Adler, Elgin, Dead at 75

Elfin, Minn. - (Special) - Mrs. Frank Alder, 75, died at 10.45 p. m. Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Spring, Elgin, after an illness of three years with a heart ailment.

Mrs. Adler, the former Laura Schuchard, was born October 17, 1873, in Bremen near here, and spent all her life in Bremen, Millville and Elgin except 12 years spent in Browns Valley, S. D., and Beardsley, Minn. She returned here two and one-half years ago.

She was first married to Sherman Ebbert, and in November 1901, some time after his death, she was married to Frank Adler. Mr. Adler died about ten years ago.

Survivors are ten sons, Walter and Elmer Ebbert, Hanley, Sask., Canada; Earl Ebbert, Kisskissing, Manitoba, Canada; Hilbert Adler, Rochester; Alvin and Ernest Adler, Milwaukee; Norman and Arleigh Adler, Lake City, and Orville and Alphie Adler, Detroit, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Spring, Elgin, and Mrs. Otto Bluhm, Zumbro Falls; 37 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, William Schuchard, Salem Arm, B. C.; Frank Schuchard, Rochester, and Robert Schuchard, Elgin, and two sisters, Mrs. George Pretzer and Mrs. John Martin, both of Elgin.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Evangelical Lutheran church, Millville, the Rev. John Siegal officiating. Preliminary services will be at the Spring home here at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Millville cemetery.
