Funeral services for Kenneth Shamburg, 84, of Blair who died November 3, 1990 at his home will be 2 p.m. Thursday, November 8 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair.

Kenneth Shamberg was born April 8, 1906 at Tekamah, Nebraska, to Jerome and Irma Peck Shamburg. He was raised in the Tekamah area and graduated from Tekamah High School.

He married Marjorie Blomquist. She preceded him in death in May, 1971.

He was a dragline operator for 50 years before his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his wife; one son, Vincent; and one brother, Jack.

He is survived by his children, Marjorie Sorensen, Arlington; Judy Young, Topeka, Kansas; Kenneth "Pat" Shamburg, Lincoln; Tome Shamburg, Shenandoah, Iowa; and James Shamburg, Blair. Three brothers, Norman, Tekamah; Waldo, Herman; and Dean, Tacoma, Washington also survive him.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
